Since Gitlab has gotten really complex with its underlying features and services, it has been a hassle to maintain.
We have decided to migrate to a different git server setup, Gitea, until the end of December 2025!
The data has been already migrated and can be accessed at: https://git.bv.e-technik.tu-dortmund.de
For the initial login, you need a temporary password, which you can get from your supervisor (Tom, Kay, Moritz, Mirza). Contact the appropriate person for your password and set a new one.
Under Settings -> Security -> Link Account (on the right) you can link your Authentik account!

Local reposLocal repositories can be migrated easily to the new git instance. You just have to change the remote of the local git repository. Navigate to the project, where the .git folder is (sometimes hidden, can be viewed with ls -la), and execute the following two commands:
git remote remove origin
git remote add origin https://git.bv.e-technik.tu-dortmund.de/<repository-path>.git
The <repository-path> entry can be found in the web UI of gitea :)
